Rooms often have an exterior jalousie, which can be operated atuomatically and also manually .
The input data for the OPC Jalousie Control System are delivered by the sensors of weather stations, which are summarized and digitized by  an electronic preprocessing. The Shading System determines the commands for the shading sectors  on the basis of weather, time and real estate data. A shading sector is a group of together controlled jalousies. The commands for positions of jalousie and fins are sent time-shifted by the Shading System. All other jalousie control commands, i.e. Wind alarm, and maintenance manual / automatic switchover are controlled by the Jalousie Control System. The control system consists of three parts:

  •      a Data-Server (NETxKNX OPC Server)
  •      a Shading System-Server (Shading automatic)
  •      a Manager (Graphical User Interface of the console)

The Shading System Server is the main part of the system and is responsible for the control. The Manager can be unterstood as connection between Server and administrator. The application has a graphical user interface, what makes interactions considerably easy. The EIB/KNX telegrams are sent and received by the help of the Data-Server.

Main features:

  • flexibel adjustable and integrateable
  • Weather data and Time data
  • Integration of 3D geometry and neighbouring building by creating 3D model and simulation of shadows are possible
  • easy handling
  • designed for large systems
